1. Our Island Trail
The Isle of Man is a special place for people and nature. This guide was originally developed during the 2018 Year of Our Island celebrations to encourage residents and visitors to celebrate our environment, our culture, our heritage and our community.
  2. Getting Around
Whether you choose to hire a car, take a taxi, travel by bus or step back in time and hop aboard the Victorian rail networks, you’ll find it easy to get around the Isle of Man.
  3. Treasure Hunt
St Johns is the cultural centre of our fair isle. Home to Tynwald Hill and the place of our yearly Tynwald celebration – not just about politics, it is a melting pot of history, superstition, and ceremony.
  4. Dark Skies Guide
Our Island is a truly special place for Dark Skies – with over 25 official dark skies sites, designated as ‘Milky Way discovery sites’ – meaning the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye!
  5. Seas and Shores Guide
With 160km of coastline, beautiful beaches, fantastic footpaths and marine nature reserves – it’s no surprise that our Island life and culture is hugely influenced by the Sea.
  6. Yn Ellan Ain Garden
As part of the 2018 Year of Our Island initiative we transformed an old brownfield site into a temporary, education and community based garden – designed to celebrate Our Island as a special place to live and work and our status as a UNESCO world biosphere region.
  7. Weather
Come rain or shine there's always something to do on the Isle of Man.
